Thanks to the steady hand of Dave I now have both the Solid and Fast versions of DBA Vikings.
Also got enough to do a 200 point Lart force.
They are a mean but beautiful looking bunch of daring doers if ever I saw any.

Farm Road club gaming opened yesterday, our main room which is one of the function rooms is having a refurb so we were in the snug.
Board games and small scale only soda and DBN were perfect.
I had three games of DBA with a chum who I had shown how to play before lock down.
He brought his Romano British and i brought three forces and randomly chose which one to use.
Game 1 my EAP managed to get into a good firing line with a flank protected by a wood. His infantry got slowed by terrain so I got a few rounds of shooting in but as I continued to roll 1's I didnt stop em. My left wing of cavalry got out cavalried and my general had to bug out leaving the lads to get mulled. 4 plus a horde to 1 against the Persians.
Game 2 my Goths turned up. The Waaagh called me to charge so I did. Knights bounced of blade and spear. One knight bounced all the way to the grave. Things did not look good but enemy then rolled a flurry of ones and my knights chewed em up. Last turn my bow even decided to get in on the action an killed some aux. 5 - 2 for the Goths.
Game 3 my Vikings came out to play. Table ended up pretty much open with just a single rough going area, Vikings lined up hoping to be able to avoid the cavalry and knights and hit some of his more squishy foot. Started well as I had better pips but he then got sis own back and his knight general with buddies hit my general but bounced. All of his attacks fluffed with terrible rolls and my dice came hot. Vikings used their horned helms to great effect gorging the enemy. Last turn I only needed a single kill so bravely ignored most of the enemy and ganged up three blades against a single spear fof the victory. 4 - 2 to the norsemen.
Great to see some of the gang and even better to see the club/bar open.

Got a good kicking as usual but great to see the gang again

8th out of 20 so not bad and only 2 points off 5th
Actual time played on all games must have been shorter than anyone, even managed a victory in 5 min.
