Infantry company stuck on bases.
T64's and support vehicles are sanded and inked, usually takes best part of day for it to dry ready for dry brushing and flock.
Will have helicopter to do then, as there is a helo chip in the set of tokens that could be drawn.
Then onto British infantry and beef them p to 1000 points.
Got crap loads of stuff left, enough for several more armies really.
Odd for gamers to get more than they need.

Re: Baldies Bits
Hi All
Just started on more 6mm Soviets, a second mech company in BTR-60's
Then heard a rustling from the shelf and some disgruntled 28mm Napoleonic Russians forced their way onto the painting table.
Got three units of them to do, I have never actually painted any before so thought I better start.
See how I get on.

Re: Baldies Bits
Still on with 6mm Northag but whilst ink dried I had a play with some 6mm fences.
They look great but do take a little while to do.
Pics tomorrow.

Re: Baldies Bits
how you finding the 6mm Nap stuff to paint?
Re: Baldies Bits
Just like everything I paint, boring as hell.
Actually
Green jacket
White trollies
Black shoes, actually boots but in summer Russians hat white waiters, or boots for the Jagers
Brown musket
Gun metal bayonet
White hint at cross strap
Grey blanket and back pack
Then a bit jazzy for the cav etc
I should be motoring through them as they are great sculpts
TBH I have lost some of my painting interest after powering through the 28mm EW Germans and 6mm Modern Sovs
I nearly finished half the first DBN force so not doing bad
It would have made more sense to try to power through 50 bases of infantry but I have my sanity to think of
I intend to do a Russian DBN sized force then a French one when Baccus accepting orders again so I have a matched pair and then move on from there.

Re: Baldies Bits
Just had a few hours on the 6mm inf.
Cuff and cap insignia done, or at least dabs to represent them. Varnish and base and my first musket and Jager Light Inf will be done. Then the heavy, light and cossack cav to do.
