Sharp Practice - Waterloo!

Post by leopard »

For anyone interested the Lard Magazine 2020 (£5.50 download from Two Fat Lardies) has lists for the 100 days campaign for Sharp Practice, plus scenarios etc

Pay, who wants to game that sideshow.
TBH I am ordering some 6mm French to complement my Russians.

I could see Napoleonic Era in 6mm in the future I have to say.

Today saw the British part of my forces grow slightly, the foot officer from the Black Powder starter set, who if the pose was any more camp would be in a tent is now done - actually a really nice model, if a bit.. odd.. also a 6pdr cannon & crew join the ranks (or will when the cannon gets a base).

will do a bit more on the 1st of several regiments of Hanovarian infantry tomorrow.

the Lard Magazine 2020 is really good, 100 days campaign, three scenarios, an ECW era scenario thats a bit blood thirsty as Dracula visits Whitby Abbey which sounds silly but looks quite entertaining and probably swapping the man himself for a female vampire I actually have the models for..

a few more as well, also some solo play stuff for Chain of Command, plus rules for the Home Guard

Helps for the shortarsed ones other mistake in the east though. easy for Black Powder, probably fine for SP too as IIRC there are published lists for Russians and French from that campaign.

and how hard can terrain rules be:

roll a d6, on a 1-5 there is mud and rain, nothing moves, on a 6 everyone freezes to death

As I understand it there was at least one Russian at Waterloo.
