Project still progressing, finished a unit of bow and a unit of bills for Exeter. Finished the first 6 bills for Oxford, that actually have a named knight at the front, flag and livery and all. Sir john preston, undef Oxfords command. Still have to do the second 6, to form the full unit. Second 6 will also have a named knight and flag, just for historical flavour. Will still be classed as a unit of bills ingame though. Built those tonight, alongside 6 horses for some heavy cavalry.

You def seem all in on the project researching etc.
We should see if Dave will do one of his battlefield talks one day, there are some WOTR battles in his excellent book on Yorkshire battlefields.

So the second 6 bills to form the full 12 man strong unit was finished, this time with Sir William Beaumont in front and centre, with accompanying banner bearer.

Almost finished a unit of 6 mounted men at arms for Exeter, horses and bases finished, riders almost done.

Counted my figs other day, about 102 finished figs (counted mounted as 1 figure), 2 command bases and a cannon. Looking like it will be about 160-70 figs per side once all said and done.

First 6 longbows finished for 4th, and final, retinue for the Lancastrians, Montague, John Neville. Hope to have second 6 finished tomorrow. Still need a command base for Exeter, but the end is now in sight. (For the lancastrians, at least!)

And though my uncle has painted up a few Yorkists, certainly enough to have a game of Rampant with, i dont think he will continue with the full scale Yorkist force, so still leaves me to do Richard Plantagenet, and Lord Hastings.

And i must admit, the beginnings of fatigue are setting in, the yearn for other projects. So i may have a look at other things once the Lancastrians are 100% finished, and come back to the Yorkists later.
