Feel same re Russians, worse at command, cant hit the floor with musket but are really good at standing still being shot at.
Must put an SP Russian list together, what points have you and Dave been playing to.
typically circa 100 points for SP, you do end up with a force breaking and running when there is still quite a bit left though, thats taking one of the in book forces as a base but no need to do that.

can come up with a French list from shorty's greatest mistake

if your lot are mostly "conscript" rated it may be worth looking at 75 points as well.

I do have some civilians to have a go at some of the other missions as well

All for using civilians they may be better shots

they do indeed get to shoot, well some of them, IIRC there is a reaction table and if they don't like the jib of your officer they retreat to a nearby building and start shooting.

some of the ACW scenarios are funny too.. raid trying to round up livestock and leg it

Infantry and artillery done for the first DBN force.
Now onto the cavalry, cossacks and command team.

I have to got into my stride with em yet but they paint up really well.

Needless to say I got shit loads more.

Will def pick up some French to do an opposing force to see if I can hook a few of you and reel you in.

I've been looking at some 6mm Napoleonics myself. DBN seems to be a go to for this era. What sort of scale does it play at? Batallion level?
