new light has arrived, fecking heck I can actually see stuff again, makes painting stuff like collars a lot easier. just need to get used to the lack of depth perception and will be up and running.

variable light colour temperature from a warm yellow through to a very harsh blue/white, variable brightness too.

made a start painting trousers on 50 more infantry...

the uniforms were the real draw to doing this in 28mm, they take an age to paint this way but look good when done, didn't take a pic as it was too dark but having had the French laid out as five regiments looked quite impressive.. and there are three more still to do.

British look better

I would love some nap types to play such as Sharpe Practice/Black Powder but i fear it is above and beyond for my skill/dedication. Keep up the good work

I have a reasonably large28mm Russian force and have yet to paint any of them myself.
I did just pick up some cossacks and have 3 more brigades of inf that I will have a crack at after putting more time into the 6mm DBN project.

I've got French and British, when things open if you fancy a game its easy to do

probably have enough of the 95th to do something specific to them as well
