Well just started on the last couple of units for my Soviet 1000 point force.
Only got about 350 points of British done so far but to be fair cheiftaind are so expensive I think I need to do

1 x Much platoon with Carriers
Rapier AA
3 chieftains
Poss some SAS

However I have promised myself the Macedonian pike will be next then put some 28mm Arab cav together

Then for sure finish the Brits or do I do the DBN French force?

The Perry stuff is so nice it is tempting.
I do of course have a 15mm force.

Hind and Frogfoot completed.

Bit more work on bases I think, will have to get the Brits done as it really is a great game like Battlegroup but doing it in 6mmlooks awesomeness.

need to find the rest of mine, I've got the M1 & Cobras, plus the T-72 & Hinds... Just need to find the BMP-2, Carnations and infantry, not idea how viable it is as a force for Northag but can't hurt to have a look. I've got the intro version of the GHQ micro armour rules (somewhere) as well, thats a pure tank v tank action, individual tanks, 6'x4' table.. 6mm scale...

Basic 500 point list is

Couple of recce vehicles
Mech company of 9 bmp and 18 inf, 9 rifle and 9 RPGs stands
10 x T72
Bits of at and specialists like artillery spotters and timed bombardment

I got a 350 British and 3t0 Russian list done for demos but need to get more Brits done to get em to the 1000 point size of the sovs

Super game today, my Soviets vs the Brits.
I got a sound thrashing but did take out one cheiftain.

Had a great scrap tonight

2 v 2 player Brits vs Soviets

With some incredible luck our T64B's and BMP-2's got first turn and took out 2 Chieftains in a shower of ATGM. A third went down in next turn which meant one of our wings could take it a little easier. The British had been expecting infantry spam so on from reserve came 10 T62's, not great tanks but when all that was left was light armoured vehicles they had a great time. Swingfires gave them cause for concern but we drew a helicopter chit and it blasted a mob of British mech infantry with rocket fire dealing out 5 chits which was enough to break the enemy.

Cracking game.

Having a game over at gimps on the 30th.
