I like how you have painted them windows on that Blitz, such a beautifully sunny day, not a bad force that now

May have gone a little overboard with the mud, I actually mixed it to hide the damage to a King Tiger track. May dust it up a little for the truck.
Ready to roll with a painted COC force now, well apart from some support still underway and German agents/nuns/fifth columnists.
Then terrain, lots of terrain but at least I have made a start.

my IJA hide in a box cowering in fear
really do need to get the reinforcements for them I have painted, or indeed assembled, the lunatics carrying boxes of explosives look wonderful and a flame thrower sounds delightfully devious.
Civilians and agents etc could make for a fun game, actually wondering on one or two of the Sharp Practice campaign scenarios as they have a good few 'rescue the prisoner' & 'locate the spy' type missions that would actually be seriously good for one army and one partisan force.
a couple of my civilians may work, farm hands, milk maids, maybe the tinkers, the 'gentlemen' perhaps not though, a bit out of the period. ditto occasional farm animals to get in the way generally, plus shooting cows and ducks with 88mm guns? whats not to like?

Had a break from figures.
Need some decals and poss a few crew for the Bison, Panzerjager and Panzer II.
Also had a crack at some hedges, got the flock drying, I will be blasting them with watered down PVA tomorrow to set it.
Amazingly messy, I really should get a real work station to keep the mess in the same area.
Got loads more hedges to do then want to get some nice scatter type terrain, generic for France, Russia and Over towards Manchuria which may be a stretch.
Still got some more infantry to finish.
Take a break from WW2 then as Alexander's chaps get promoted to the table, they will also go on to be my Seleucid force.

they prob need another coat and seal, ordered some rubberised horse hair as the glue will soak in better than the wire wool obs

Granted but they shed faster than me, the horse hair arrived today so going to have another crack and see if they seal better.
Going to seal the others again as well.
