Hmmmmm 16 bases of Pike so far that should even be enough for DBMM, probably.

Finally started on em again.
Made some artillery crew from a free Warloord Games EW German sprue.
221, Light Artillery and Motorcycle sidecar combo started on.
Enemy agents including nuns with grenades and some odds and sods then the Ew project is done, for now.

Macedonian Pike blocks undecorated so they are def next on the list.

Hi All

Picked up some 2 p sabot bases to use to mark a wounded leader they have a magnet in them so hold onto the 2 p well but not too tightly

Image

Left is just black and I now realise would serve just as well to identify a wounded leader as having one coloured

One in the middle is supposed to represent some bleeding but I am not convinced

One on the right is just totally red to make it easy to see a wounded guy

Did make the mistake of spraying them all black before trying to paint red and doing it white or grey before red would have been better

What you think, I think I am going with the full red look

given CoC seems to be "ok" or "wounded" I suspect just a red would work nicely, doesn't even need to be too bright (black with a bright red blood drop? Blood Angel blood drop decal maybe?)

actually a very good idea, have been pondering something like a 40mm round base for leaders, disc of the magnetic rubber on it and a bit of scatter just to make leaders stand out - did wonder on a "wounded" one, think you have the requirement nailed here :)

Blood Angel's, never.
That said I am considering doing them and imperial fists for Epic.

Think I may just stick with black.

JL are either ok, knockedout, light wound and command reduction or dead.
SL can be lightly wounded twice and SL main leader three times each time dropping one command point but bet it doesn't happen that much.

Terrified what else you found for the Japanese.

Japanese was mostly just more of what I've got now, some extra plastic frames so make up the rest of the light mortar crews, maybe a few more riflemen for the HMG as crew again. Did get a flame thrower though, and some utter lunatics carrying boxes of explosives

Started putting together some Arab types for SAGA.

Warlord and Banner bearer ready for painting.
3 x 4 Mounted hearthguard stuck together, made em up with hand weapons but stuck the saddle bows on 8 of them just incase I ever use bow hearthguard.

Got a couple of boxes of light cav for warriors and a box of gripping beast Arab foot to do which will be more than enough for SAGA.

They are generic enough to be several forces.

Just made a start on Northag.

350 points of Soviets which is quite small and British to face em which is even smaller.

Aim to get em done then keep going to 500, 750 and 1000 points.

I have based on 32mm round bases mainly cos I wanted to despite being told not to, I guess in 6mm even playing Team Yankee wont be an issue.

Got to say I am loving the Heroics and Ros figures and have got way too many, trying to get myself up to get painting which should be easy enough in theory.
