finally a bit of an update, finally have the file transfer software on the PC and got it working..

Gauls!

some finished, some with the base texture drying and the final drybrushing to do once its dried. Plain shields to allow transfer at some indeterminate time in the future.

2x 10 units of warriors, a unit of javelin skirmishers and a command group

also terrain!

some Age of sigmar bits, actually nice kits, have a bit more in the same colours, nice jade green for stone so not massively suitable for historical games but better than nothing

Have been having a faff about, with the electrickery issues the main PC, and thus ability to upload pics is "offline"..

However now have more 28mm Napoleonic stuff done, two more line French regiments, so now have two of 36 and two of 24, given the units of 24 lack command groups its probably not impossible to just run them as five regiments of 24 with a few oddballs thrown in. French 6pdr cannon, crew and officer also ready to roll (need matt varnish which will have to wait until my airbrush is back on line, can live with brush on gloss for now - Perry twins models and they are lovely).

almost have a Chasseurs A Cheval unit done as well, just minor details they are getting done bit by bit, then they too need varnish - Warlord plastics with a Perry Twins command group which sets them off nicely.

next up are in theory a regiment of Hanoverian infantry who are assembled and primed ready, however today I assembled the Royal Artillery cannon, crew and the line foot officer from the Black Powder starter as the scenarios in there need both the cannon and Hanoverians.. though the infantry will be from the Peninsular period for the line British as they are done.

Had a look how much more of this remains to be done and scared myself a bit

Hopefully job changing soon (well around Easter probably) which will change a few things and away we go

Cool

Cant wait to get gaming again, SP and BP are high on the list.

I got a few more regiments of Russian 28mm inf that need painting and expecting my 6mm to arrive soon. I have been bombarding Wargames Atlantic with requests for plastic Russian cavalry. Though I admit the Perry metal Russian in are fantastic.

Despite owning a sizeable Napoleonic army I have never actually had to paint any. Looking forward to having a go but not before I got some Northag forces Completed.

certainly up for a bit of Clash of Eagles stuff, won't be too hard to come up with SP Russian lists, there are a few on their website anyway and some French lists from the period when the little twit made what as it turned out was a slight mistake

Hanoverians are nearly done - white strapping on 8 left to do and the regiment is ready, today saw the next batch, 50x British line & light to form two regiments (well more really as neither yet have command groups) being primed - literally a line of them about 4' long for spraying.

Will be trying to get the boys from Hanover finished off ready to make a probably slow start on them, however in theory pretty much have the Black Powder 2nd edition starter ready to roll

not painted in a few weeks, main light in the kitchen has failed so not been able to get the light to do it, have an illuminated magnifying thingy arriving tomorrow so hopefully will be back with painting on an evening and actually getting the two part painted 28mm regiments (French cavalry & Hanoverian infantry) actually finished as both are painfully close.

hoping then to update the pictures of both sides
