Star Fleet Battles is go
A true wargame of the old school, card counters job, bit of thinking required but I've got most of the Basic Set ships copied up (Tholians excluded because what they have in the basic set is hardly worth bothering with). United Federation of Planets & the Klingon Empire have the best variety but will also have a few from the Romulan Star Empire (Angry Vulcans), the Kzinti Hegemony (Aslan gone bad) and the Gorn Confederation (Barney the Dinosaur on a bad hair day) if anyone fancies a run at this.
Game quite easily supports multi-player, I'm having a run against Dave C. but if anyone else fancies a game I'm happy to just run it

the rules get mad (assaulting a Tholian defended starbase with minefields is not easy
